A Genuine & Supportive Approach to Therapy
I work with adolescents (10+) and adults who feel overwhelmed, worn down, or stuck in patterns that no longer seem to work. Many of the people I see are managing anxiety, emotional overload, or ongoing stress related to relationships, caregiving responsibilities, demanding work roles, or major life transitions. They are often functioning on the outside while feeling depleted, unsure, or constantly on edge internally.
My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and grounded. I support clients in better understanding what is contributing to their distress and work with them to build coping tools that can realistically be used outside of sessions. Therapy is structured enough to provide direction while remaining flexible enough to meet you where you are. The goal is not to fix you, but to help you feel steadier, more grounded, and more capable of responding to life’s challenges with clarity and intention.
Many clients come to therapy after carrying ongoing stress, complicated relationships, or situations that have been difficult to resolve on their own. This may include family strain, distance from loved ones, or long-standing patterns that continue to affect how you feel and function. Sessions focus on your experience, boundaries, and goals. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin; showing up is enough to start the process.
